Great food! You just feel good in the restaurant!

I'm disappointed. Since the place looked very inviting, I was almost shocked by the unfriendly service of our first contact person. We had to wait a long time to place the order and our question of whether we could move as we would have liked to sit in the sun was harshly ironed. The coffee I ordered was brought by another waitress who was really friendly. For this and for the nice atmosphere in itself, I give one star each. Too bad.

It wasn't a day like any other! Also my birthday! That fit! A wonderful 4-course menu: beef carpaccio with a herb rim, topped with a fine mousse from ... so what was it now? I think it was made from artichoke. Anyway, it fit like hell! Conn. kl. Fish corner with airy foam and crispy skin, followed by saddle of venison with all sorts of the finest little things. Mushroom mini-diced. Sauce to put in ... Finally, something sweet. A cream caramel chocolate? with mini ice-cream balls in two different flavors and pear pearls. Mhhhh! EVERYTHING DELICIOUS

Highly Recommended! I would like to give 10 stars in every way. We discovered this great restaurant years ago and the quality has steadily increased since then. We always had great evenings with incredibly great service, food and not to forget the well-selected wines from the region. If you are looking for traditional star cuisine, this is the place for you. Everything is right here! Very nice ambience, very good and friendly service, fresh selected products, creative Baden cuisine, simply wonderful. The combination of tradition and modernity meet in the Wirtshaus zur Sonne. The differentiated wine list should not go unmentioned. The hazelnut schnapps at the end of the day is a must. We take the opportunity to stop there every time we visit Freiburg.

Unfortunately we were there for the third time to eat. But the waitress gave us a very rude rebuff. We won't go to the restaurant anymore! Service staff is the be-all and end-all if that doesn't fit you can't enjoy the day

Deer with chanterelles, savoy cabbage and dumplings are very good, but the dumplings are very small and for the price of 30 € in the amount (3) they are also relatively few. Also had to wait an unusually long time for our meal to 5. The quality of the food itself is wonderful and especially the meat was very tasty. So more like 4.5 stars

My favorite inn for years. I was never disappointed and was always fed up. A longer journey is also very worthwhile. The time you wait for food is reasonable I prefer to eat trout miller or deer there. The staff are extremely courteous and the prices are not too high.

Fantastic food in the beautiful beer garden. Great kitchen, nice service, parking, mini golf ... highly recommended! There is fresh baguette with cream cheese and butter in front. We had an incredibly delicious herbal soup, the very good Steinbeisser, with potatoes on spinach leaves, extra sauce! and glazed goat cheese with lettuce and chanterelles in balsamic ...

Very cozy restaurant with a large terrace. The seasonal menu, which is changed at certain intervals, has been put together successfully, tastes excellent and is also not overpriced. As before, I particularly liked the fish course. The service has always been attentive and friendly.

Fantastic food! Everything was very good here. Great salad, great meat, very tasty side dishes and even the final coffee tastes better than expected. We were also received very friendly with the small children and were able to enjoy excellent service. We will be happy to come back and recommend it. Thank you for the nice experience

Honest cuisine with absolutely fresh products. In addition, the extremely friendly and not pretentious service in a wonderful and cozy restaurant. Conclusion: You can certainly cook differently ... cooking is not going to be very difficult, not to say very difficult. P.S. .: Although the example photos (2 visits) can reflect the loving presentation ... a visit only, can satisfy all the senses.
